About the author…

Peter is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has performed with some of the nation’s leading ensembles and musicians. Alongside his performing career, he is a dedicated educator of students of all ages and abilities. It was while teaching in 2023 that he noticed a distinct lack of material for younger pupils whose coordination takes longer to develop. The idea for a book was born and in the summer of the following year, the Young Starters Drum Book was created.
